Food Philosophy

You are what you eat, so you had better be putting the good stuff into your body. God only gave you one vessel. He also provides us with a myriad of amazing plant foods to fill it with. Change is hard, but your life and your health are well worth the effort. You can either pay now, or pay the doctor later. The choice is yours.

About Chef Bev

Chef Beverly Williams earned her degree in Culinary Management. She has more than 30 years of food industry experience, including working as Head Chef and Kitchen Supervisor at various restaurants including Houlihan's, The Warner Center, and the Double Tree hotel in Pittsburgh, PA. She has also been a restaurant manager at Red Lobster and Marriott hotel.

Back in 2016 Chef Bev found herself weighing in at over 300 pounds and riddled with chronic conditions, including pre-diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. But after switching to a whole food diet and later going fully plant based, Chef Bev was able to lose 145 pounds and get her blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol numbers back into a normal range.Kathleen, Chef Bev's late mother (pictured below), suffered from diabetes for nearly 40 years. Bev removed all processed foods from her diet. And after injecting herself daily for four decades, her mother's doctor could no longer detect diabetes in her system and took her off insulin completely.
